Hospice of the Piedmont

Hospice of the Piedmont.jpg

Many people believe that hospice is a destination—a place you go at the end of life. In reality, hospice is a method of care that centers on comfort rather than cure. It’s a philosophy that celebrates quality—rather than quantity—of life for patients with life-limiting illnesses.

Hospice of the Piedmont provides patients with compassionate pain control and symptom management, often in the comfort of their homes. We also care for patients in hospitals, assisted living facilities, continuous care retirement communities, and nursing homes.

But, we also do something unique: We share the journey with families as well, ensuring that those who are grieving—adults, teens, and children—have a safe and supportive place to mourn in our high-quality, long-term grief support groups, classes, camps, and events. Our bottom line centers on the needs of our patients and families. No one is ever turned away because of the inability to pay. Share the journey. You are not alone.
