The Salvation Army

The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.
We provide a wide variety of services for Culpeper and Warrenton.
1. Utilities Assistance: we pledge to pay a client's utility bill so that the family is not subjected to hazardous cold or heat. This also serves as a homeless prevention program. 2. Food and Commodities Pantry. 3. Emergency Disaster Services: we train a disaster response team and maintain a mobile feeding unit (similar to a food truck) to assist victims and first responders through meals, clean up kits, building supplies, shelter, and financial support. 4. Angel Tree: we provide toys, clothes, and food for children in need. 5. We send children to Camp Happyland where they learn about nature, build friendships, and hear the gospel.
