Forgotten Felines of Culpeper

Forgotten Felines of Culpeper is a cat rescue dedicated to cats that have been forgotten - strays that are shy and frightened, cats that once had a home but have been abandoned on the streets, and community cats. We are unique in that we are the only rescue in Culpeper County which rehabilitates and socializes community cats. Other rescues and shelters are not set up or able to provide for unsocialized cats, many of which are merely frightened and need to learn to trust humans again. If taken to a shelter, their only option is to be euthanized due to lack of space or time needed to socialize, because they are not deemed readily adoptable. Our mission is to make a difference in the lives of these misunderstood cats by giving love, care, socialization, and proper vetting. We have had great success turning them into wonderful, loving housecats that are eventually placed in purrmanent, loving homes. We are an all-volunteer rescue. No one is paid.
